The School of Chinese Medicine
The School of Chinese Medicine consists of Division A and Division B. Students enrolled in Division A are required to complete a double major involving both the School of Chinese Medicine and the School of Medicine for 7 years; students enrolled in Division B undertake a single major in the School of Chinese Medicine for 7 years.
The School of Chinese Medicine offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees.
The School of Post-Baccalaureate Chinese Medicine
Since its establishment in 1984, the School has enrolled students with undergraduate degrees in other fields. Its teaching is designed to assimilate knowledge from a broad academic base and to maintain the tradition of Chinese medicine, while simultaneously integrating Chinese and western medicine disciplines. The School intends to educate TCM physicians with a solid understanding of modern medicine.
The Graduate Institute of Integrated Medicine
The Institute enrolls students who have graduated from universities recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan with majors in Chinese medicine, medicine, post-baccalaureate Chinese medicine or medicine, or dentistry, and hold practice licenses in Chinese medicine, medicine, or dentistry. The goal of the Institute is to enhance students' existing professions, and foster their teaching ability and research capacity in integrated medicine. Doctoral admission was first commenced in 2012.
The Graduate Institute of Acupuncture Science
The Institute was the first professional research institute of acupuncture established in Taiwan. It enrolls students who have graduated from universities recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan with majors in Chinese medicine, medicine, post-baccalaureate Chinese medicine or medicine, dentistry, or biomedical fields. The goal of the Institute's curriculum is to enhance acupuncture sciences and cultivate acupuncture practice among healthcare professionals and teaching personnel.
The Department of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chinese Medicine Resources
The Graduate Institute of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 1974, which launched a doctoral program in 1992. The School of Chinese Medicine Resources was established in 2002. The program was reorganized as the "Department of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chinese Medicine Resources" in 2010.
The undergraduate program trains students in the fields of Chinese medicine and biotechnology in Taiwan. The mission of the program is to nurture research manpower and teachers in the field of Chinese medicine.

The International Master Program in Acupuncture
The master program was established in 2008. It enrolls international students with the bachelor's degree of medicine, post-baccalaureate medicine, Chinese medicine, post-baccalaureate Chinese medicine, dentistry, or traditional medicine; or, a bachelor's degree recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, and with an Acupuncturist License. The program conducts courses and research, and focuses on the integration of TCM science and modern clinical science.
The International Master Program in Integrative Health
The master program was established in 2024. It enrolls international students with the bachelor's degree of medicine, post-baccalaureate medicine, Chinese medicine, post-baccalaureate Chinese medicine, dentistry, or traditional medicine; or, a bachelor's degree recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan. The program conducts courses tailor to health-related subjects and practical applications in medical field.
