Congratulations to 15 Faculty Members from College of Chinese Medicine, CMU, for Being Recognized on Stanford University's 2024 "World's Top 2% Scientists" List!

Stanford University, US recently released the 2024 "World's Top 2% Scientists", which is divided into two categories: "Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking (1960-2023)" and "2023 Annual Scientific Impact Ranking". A total of 15 faculty members from the College of Chinese Medicine, China Medical University (CMU) have been recognized as being among the "World's Top 2% Scientists" in 2024.

The "World's Top 2% Scientists" list was created by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis' team at Stanford University, Dr. Kevin W. Boyack, and Jeroen Baas, Director of Research Data Analysis at Elsevier. It is based on Scopus database and scored by six key indicators, namely "total citations", "Hirsch h-index", "modified Schreiber Hm-index of co-author(s)", "single author", "single or first author", and "number of citations of articles by single, first or last author". The World's Top 2% of Scientists are selected from nearly 8 million scientists, covering 20 major disciplines and 176 sub-fields. This data provides a measurement indicator of scientists' long-term research performances.

A total of 15 faculty members from the College of Chinese Medicine, CMU have been recognized on the list, including 12 on the "2023 Annual Scientific Impact Ranking" and 13 on the "Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking (1960-2023)", of which 9 are listed on both.
